DEVELOPED BY RIDERS : Each model is based on a solid M5 aluminum chassis and aluminum wheels. Robust suspensions, powerful brakes and renowned drivetrain options complete these models to absorb big impacts, pedal with confidence and be able to stop everything at any time.

RIDE DYNAMICS SETTINGS : Before it arrives on your doorstep or at your favorite bike shop, every STATUS 2 receives a special shock setting from our Specialized Ride Dynamics team—a group that eats, sleeps, and breathes mountain bike suspension. Shock characteristics are designed to perfectly complement the kinematics of the new STATUS 2.

MAKE IT PERSONAL : Every STATUS 2 bike model is equipped with Flip Chips (located on the Horst Link pivot, near the rear axle) that allow the rider to adjust the frame geometry to suit their riding style or terrain. Bikes ship in a high position, but can be flipped to a lower, slacker position, with an 8mm lower bottom bracket and a half-degree slacker head tube angle.
