With 110mm of Ride Dynamics suspension, the Chisel’s high-performance pedigree can be traced back directly to the Epic 8, our World Cup race machine. Epic 8 DNA, such as advanced kinematics, Ride Dynamics suspension and progressive geometry, carries over to the Chisel.
Using the geometry and kinematics of our Epic 8 platform, the Chisel is incredibly efficient. A steep seat tube keeps the rider in an optimal pedaling position. The refined anti-squat reduces pressure on the pedals. Every watt sent to the pedals translates into forward motion.
D'Aluisio Smartweld offers the highest strength at the lowest weight by using hydroformed tube joints that allow us to move the joint away from the area of greatest stress and create a “valley” in which the weld bead can extend.
