The S-Works Turbo RapidAir is considered the ultimate race day tire. It’s the most efficient, lightest, best handling, and most durable tubeless tire Specialized has ever made. The previous version of the RapidAir revolutionized the World Tour, offering an alternative to tubulars and winning Tour de France stages, green jerseys, and victories in cycling’s greatest monuments. Further improving the speed and durability of this model was a major challenge.

Specialized already had an incredibly fast base with the unique RapidAir construction. Unlike a traditional three-ply casing that layers material under the tread and inevitably increases rolling resistance, the RapidAir casing uses just two overlapping plies on the sidewall. This construction not only makes for a faster ride, but also improves grip, compliance, and comfort.

The all-new Gripton T2 compound, developed by Specialized, is the fastest and most efficient yet. By combining the performance of the Gripton T2 on the tread with the legendary grip of the Gripton T5 on the sidewalls, the S-Works Turbo RapidAir 2BR 26 mm tires save two watts of rolling resistance compared to the previous model, while increasing the lifespan of the pair by approximately 1,000 kilometers. Weighing just 230 grams in 26 mm, these tires also stand out for their lightness.

As a tubeless tire, the Turbo S-Works RapidAir 2BR is capable of automatically sealing punctures when used with RapidAir sealant. With the new Kevlar Blackbelt hybrid protection under the tread, it offers 12% more puncture protection, while maintaining a reduced weight and unmatched smoothness.

New reinforced Zylon beads exceed hookless burst pressure standards by 200%, ensuring ultimate peace of mind. When it comes to efficiency, handling and durability, the S-Works Turbo 2BR is the perfect companion for both the most demanding races and relaxed training sessions.
